A few months ago I found on last.fm user who has such good taste that even Steven Albini looks like retard in comparison with him. Seriously. You can take his music library, and you don’t have to look for new bands for rest of your life. I’m practicing this for a couple weeks, posting best founds here on our blog (STNNNG, My Disco, sCUL HAZZARD in future), which ensured my immortality admiration of few 16years old anonymous users who have nothing better to do than searching this blog..
The reason why I’m writing about it is simple: this guy has his own band, which is also definitely worth mentioning. Their name is Mlijeko, and even without looking into the dictionary I am so sure it means mléko (milk). Yeah, I am almost croatian.
Short description: Mlijeko is a three piece post punk band from Dugo Selo, Croatia. Band is active for three years. Often tending to minimalism and garage influenced noise formations. Influenced by Fugazi, Shellac, Slint, Future of the Left and some post hardcore and math rock bands, Mlijeko are trying to find their version of noisy post punk. “Grobnica za Borisa Beckera” (2010) is their first album, and it contains everything you want to hear: minimalism drumming, noisy straight-to-the-point garage riffs and lyrics about Kevin Kuranyi.
Noise Parade . Dead Choppers EP
czech . 2011 . noise rock. garage rock
Garage masters Noise Parade made their WWWar debut few months ago with entertaining debut EP Fuck me, sonic beast, which was downloaded almost 2 million times. Seriously. Even Bono Vox called to our office and ask who are they. This is their second release, again three songs filled with immense energy from start to end. So if you downloaded Mlijeko and u like them, you’ll definitely like Noise Parade as well. And vice versa.
